This report is an assessment of Bangladesh’s social protection system. The assessment uses the Core Diagnostic Instrument (CODI), a tool developed by the Inter-Agency Social Protection Assessments (ISPA). The purpose of the CODI is to enable countries to assess their social protection systems, identify potential social protection policies and reforms options, and analyse trends over time. The report includes social protection information on country context, governance, program design and implementation, and a system assessment with analyses and scoring of 47 indicators.
