A meeting of focal points of CMC on Social Security was held off and online on 24 October 2021, participated by the focal point officers from 38 Social Protection implementing and coordinating Ministries/Divisions. It was chaired by Mr. Md. Kamal Hossain, Secretary, (Coordination and Reforms), Cabinet Division and facilitated by Mr. Rahat Anwar, Additional Secretary (Coordination, Cabinet Division). The objective of the meeting discussed in detail the implementation of the NSSS Action Plan Phase 2 (2021-26). The Social Security Policy Support (SSPS) Programme of the Cabinet Division and the General Economics Division (GED), Planning Commission, Government of Bangladesh with technical assistance from DFAT and UNDP support for the meeting.
