The first meeting of the NSSS M & E Committee was held on 12th September 2018 at Meeting Room, Block 6, General Economics Division (GED). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Shamsul Alam, Member (Senior Secretary), General Economics Division, Planning Commission. Participants of the meeting also included Mr. Md. Faizul Islam, National Project Director, SSPS; Mr. Aminul Arifeen, National Project Manager, SSPS.

The First Meeting of the NSSS M & E Committee reviewed the Terms of References (TORs) of the M&E Committee in the light of the National Social Security Strategy. Subject matters discussed during the meeting also included Devising and instituting a Results-based M&E Framework; Formulating the M&E Committee; Formulating a Results-based Framework; and the Compilation of an Annual Results-based M&E Report.
