To accelerate implementation of National Social Security Strategy (NSSS), it is imperative for officials at different levels of the government to have enhanced knowledge and necessary skill development. To inform and train the officials, it is necessary to undertake Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes for trainers of training centres of the social security implementing ministries/divisions. It is also important to review whether the issues related to social security and poverty alleviation are included in different courses of training centers.

In this regard, Cabinet Division has undertaken initiative to develop curriculum for ToT on Social Security. For this purpose, a workshop was held at the Cabinet Division Conference Room at the Transport Pool Building on Monday, 17 June 2019.  The workshop was following a meeting on a review of inclusion of social security and poverty reduction topics in different courses of training centres in the same venue. The sessions of the workshop and meeting were presided over by Dr. Md. Shamsul Arefin, Secretary, Coordination & Reforms, Cabinet Division. Trainers and officials from the training centres of the social security implementing ministries/divisions attended the workshop and meeting.
